
DanceYourSelf program is for those who would like to experience healing and freeing effect of the dance and movements. There is a huge potential of the dance which we miss when concentrating only on learning steps and combos, imitating somebody's movements and practicing techniques. The dance can profoundly affect our being at all levels. It can help us to liberate the body, release the suppressed emotions, balance the mind and feed our Spirit.
There are lots of beautiful exercises our Selves can benefit from. Selves with a capital “S”. The greatest part of each of us. The part that needs to be fed as much as our body and the connection with which makes our dances and lives authentic.
This class is not only for dancers. It is also for those who often repeat the phrase: “I am not dancing.” For those who once believed that they were not enough young/slim/tall/coordinated/you name it … to dance. Your Spirit can dance! It absolutely loves to dance and enjoys to be expressed by dance, and it is your choice to provide this opportunity for your Self or not.
